>murr i hate paramore she suck
>>64601332
Man I used to hate this band. But it's 100% better than half the mainstream shit today.
Especially the "indie" shit.
>>64601372
They have many good songs. Very listenable.
>>64601332
i want to eat her hair desu
>>64601394
that's kind of cute
>>64601332
god this band is trash. though the drummer from Paramore who posted here a few months back was a pretty cool guy.
I would really like to get into her body of work
Paramore > Riot! > Brand New Eyes > debut
>>64601460
>faux punk
They're pop punk you idiot. It's a mix of pop and punk if you don't get that.
>>64601477
Even pop punk has integrity
>>64601488
>integrity
Don't be so naive. They're a pop punk band making pop punk music. Isn't that integrity? They don't pose into something they're not.
>>64601530
It's Pop. Are you 12?
>>64601418
also make a necklace out of it so i can smell and fondle it whenever i want
>>64601556
Pop music is about image you dingus what are you on
>>64601556
Pop isn't that aggressive as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G133kjKy91U
Ffs, it's heavier than those mainstream rock bands like Green Day, U2, Coldplay, etc.
>>64601559
a bit weird man but ill roll with it
Something something body of work something.
>>64601588
So aggressive https://youtu.be/OblL026SvD4
>>64601614
Some of their music is quite pop. You posted their poppiest song by far. But what about this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CWhPozi7Kg
>>64601566
>Hayley Williams
>not about image
>>64601884
I trolled you
>>64601884
Image and music are not mutually exclusive, dingus. In fact all good artists have a good image.
i saw this thread in the catalogue 10 mins ago and didnt think it would get any replies because i didnt think /mu/ were that pleb
>i was wrong
>>64601332
these songs are fucking trash my man
>>64601920
You must be one of that elitist pieces of shit that hate anything catchy. I invite you to fuck off right now.
Post more of that god tier thighs.
mfw 25 replies and ten posters
>>64601467
youre actually fucking retarded, paramore was shit
>>64601937
i love catchy music, i just dont like shit music
>>64601948
You're retarded dude. They're not shit coz you want that. Their selftitled album was legit one of the best albums of 2013.
>>64601950
>implying that music that you don't like is always shit
>>64601332
Original drummer and guitarist are talented men
>>64601332
>liking Paramore
You're not old enough to be on here kid
Stop it guys I'm getting a boner on my lunch break
I really don't like pop punk in general and roll my eyes whenever we get those confessional threads where people post about how much they like Enema of the State or American Idiot or whatever but don't mention Riot! Way better than their peers tbqh
Where the Lines Overlap is such a perfect little pop song.
I hate how Hayley still must insist on having her voice double tracked on every album with really noticeable echo. You've got a voice big enough to topple buildings. It doesn't need any of that shit.
>>64601915
>all good artists have a good image
Kek, ok kid.
>>64603467
It's true. Name any good artist.
Future was great, I hope they make more post rock songs
would you pork Hailey Williams?
>>64603506
Shellac
>>64604250
Not good. Try Again.
>tfw started ironically listening to Paramore but unironically enjoyed it
>>64601467
imo
Riot! > Debut > S/T >= Brand New Eyes
I really hope their next album sounds like Future
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oScRBsOV6I
>>64602073
this
I think Riot and Brand New Eyes are great pop albums (with some punk influence if you want to be more especifical) and the last one it's not bad either. Hayley is a talented beautiful girl, the problem is that she seems kind of a bitch to work with, josh and zack farro left because of her and jeremy davis did too, and they were great musicians.
>>64604242
does a bear shit in the woods?
>>64604553
post more of this semen demon
ive never hear this shit
not my kinda music but they seem 2 b good at making pop music
like a modern Missing Persons
>>64601332
good body of work
>>64604553
This, Riot! Was a standout pop rock album
>>64601477
>>64601556
>>64603402
>what is pop/radio rock
I quite like Paramore and I really liked their last album. I hope they experiment more on their next endeavor though, they can't do their old pop punk sound anymore even though its good
>>64605788
we need more post rock
>>64605635
I suggest you check first their albums Riot! and Paramore. They're really good.
>>64604283
I laughed so fucking hard at this and i have no clue why.
>>64604553
I may understand Riot! as their best, but debut ahead of S/T? No way.
I like Hayley's body of work
post more thighs and ass desu
I kinda miss the mid 2000s rock scene
i remember seeing paramore at the local VFW with other local bands
strange to see how fucking huge they became
>>64610486
They became really popular
>>64601332
Brick By Boring Brick is pretty good, famm.
isn't she just a shit shirley manson
like she ripped off her image wholesale
>>64611696
Hayley has her own style. Don't let her red hair fool you. FYI I love Shirley Manson.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oScRBsOV6I
in case none of you saw this one before. Was a bit of a shock when i first heard it
stop thinking with your dick, this band is garbage
same with grimes, k-pop, the list goes on.......
>>64612523
>same with grimes
Fuck you, Grimes is great. So are Paramore.
>>64604553
Why do people like riot! It's a fairly weak album with lyrics way below the writers age bracket.
BNE > Debut > Riot > S/T
>>64601332
their musics alright, but I like hayley better ;^)
I like Paramore a lot, and the Hayley-crush has been going strong since 2007. Born For This is top tier, and they have lots of other good songs imo.
Her allegedly being a bitch against band members just makes me like her even more for some reason.
>>64613585
Riot! contains some of the most catchy pop punk ever, surpassing even bands like Sum 41 and Blink 182 imo.
I fuckin love Paramore man and have since high school. One of the few bands from back then I still listen to.
>>64613585
I don't care about the lyrics, the songs are solid. You don't listen to Paramore for some deep lyrics.
>>64613750
Same, Paramore, MCR and HIM has followers me!
>>64601332
Paramore is based, but Hayley must be awful to tour with, Taylor's the only other member left lol, she's gonna be solo soon
>>64601332
More like ProtoLavrenore
go away granny
>>64613883
>but Hayley must be awful to tour with
It was all about the money. Those who left weren't content with their share of money. Being the main songwriters, of course Hayley and Taylor have the biggest share.
Hayley has a very good voice, so she could be a solo artist easily. Only that Paramore is a bigger brand than her own name.
>>64613955
Why do people on /mu/ consider people in their 20's, grandparents? Is this board really that fucking young?
>>64613955
>Lauren: 28
>Hayley: 27
Granny you said?
>>64614018
ewwwww
lowland genes
>>64614163
Lol get over yourself, it's just a bad picture.
>>64614163
wot?
bump
>>64615368
When I first came to /mu/, I had only used /pol/ and /b/ and wasn't aware that blue boards were SFW. My first post was accompanied by that leaked titty pic she has and I was banned immediately for three days.
>>64615481
Nothing wrong with some good titties. People are more ofended by some nude pics than by some gory violence. A fucked up world.
>>64615551
*offended
>>64615551
What kind of society do we live in that lovely boobies are taboo, yet there is evisceration and dismemberment on daytime TV? It's just sad man.
oh right music, Careful is Paramore's most badass rock song.
>>64601332
I mean I appreciate that Haley personifies a sort of modestly raw beauty but the end product is basically something to be depressed about to people who experience music existentially
>>64615680
I'm pretty well versed in elitist /mu/speak but I really don't get what you;re trying to say. Are you saying that Hayley is all pretty and no talent? Because that's just false dudeman
>>64615650
Did you hear Part II yet? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45Xzgma4LMk
>>64615728
I haven't really been interested in pop punk enough to really give them a chance. I can basically expect to appreciate their music as legitimate but also resent it's streamlined nature. To me their presence is basically defined by Haley's uniquely raw brand of beauty.
>>64615680
I don't know what you're trying to convey with this elitist speak, but you seem wrong. Hayley doesn't sing about deep topics, her music is fun to listen. It makes you feel good.
By the way, Paramore have some really beautiful ballads like When It Rains and The Only Exception:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3IAybZOt-E
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-J7J_IWUhls
>>64615731
Oh I'm diggin this
>>64615760
I don't know man, I've always liked Paramore because they were grouped in with that pop punk image but they were just more rock. Some of it is girly, some of it is really genuinely good music. Part II is good, so is Careful, When it Rains, Born for This is a decent rock song, certainly one of the very best rock songs with a female vocalist and writer that I've ever heard.
>>64615798
>elitist speak
I don't understad personally how you have come to this conclusion as my way of expression has progressed to this point through being suppressed by an actually legitimately elitist society
>Hayley doesn't sing about deep topics
All professional musicians propose deep topics, though I think your understanding has progressed from the relatively modest form of expression that she creates compared to the total of her intellectual contemporaries
>>64616005
Why is her form of expression modest to you? This girl is putting in 100% to her voice in these songs. I doubt this girl doesn't feel strongly about some of the songs she's written. Also don't forget, she was 18 on her first album.
>>64615937
5 more songs that I love:
Now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G133kjKy91U
Fast in My Car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaiOTGEnuJk
Hello Cold World: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOk9wzq53r4
Be Alone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPUDb23CdZY
Let the Flames Begin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkVzUuRI2cQ
>>64616005
Actually 17 I believe.
>>64615981
For what it's worth I would expect their music to be much more mediated and modest than their original contemporaries that reached my intake like Hawthorne Heights and Taking Back Sunday.. Like, to my adolescent sensibilities Paramore were a more legitimate presence than those other exploitative bands.
>>64603506
>>64604283
literally any good jazz musician
>>64616138
Oh definitely. I think you should check some of it out man, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.
>>64616091
Well I mean when I think of female pop personalities what immediately comes to mind are the likenesses of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift who obviously express superiority and elitism in much more direct means than Hayley's expression. Thats how she seems relatively reasonable and modest to me through my basic sensibilities.
Riot was their last good album
>>64616219
Hayley and Paramore seem much more modest than Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, etc. They're really down to earth.
>>64616219
I don't know why I took modest as having a negative connotation
>>64616273
Their self titled was their last good album.
I used to think that Paramore improved with every release, but my former hatred of Riot! is completely gone. I absolutely adore Riot! now.
Riot! ≥ Paramore > Brand New Eyes > All We Know Is Falling
Like many have said, "Future" has me pretty hyped for what's to come. I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to a Paramore release. Oh my.
Also, Hayley is so qt :)
>>64616276
Yeah but then when you put their efforts in the pantheon of which efforts like tUnE-yArDs and St Vincent exist Paramore begin to seem like a fairly sterile and streamlined product. I don't like to seem jaded about this but that's how I see it.
>>64616332
Oops, looks like someone already posted that picture. I'll post another one.
hayley williams is pretty cool
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t77zNeuIZjQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLr6umAh9g8
>>64616347
Paramore never had arty pretensions. They were never as experimental as tUnE-yArDs and St Vincent, but they consistenly delivered great tunes. You could make a 2h playlist with only great Paramore songs.
Also VERY important: Hayley really sings with passion. No half assed vocal performances.
>>64616379
Rare songs. I like also this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57-J8K3q-vo
So playful.
Nobody mentioned their habit of bringing on stage a fan to sing with them the last part of Misery Business? Tons of fun!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eotJUAKdz-M
>>64601332
All We Know Is Falling > S/T > Riot! > Brand New Eyes
The only accurate ranking.
>>64616629
Funny how I've seen all the possible permutations between all these albums. There's no consensus about what is their best album. Personally I think S/T is their best and most consistent.
>>64616369
>>64616443
>DAT ASS MAN... DAT ASS...
>>64616629
>putting the album she made as a 17 year old at the top
Nah dude, I like Paramore but as a 24 year old it just feels like kid's music. S/T > Riot >Brand New Eyes >>All we Know Is Falling
>>64616869
Hayley is HOT.
>>64616379
The fact that she's a big Failure fan is pretty patrician.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EratH-DEPs
>>64616949
can you post some.... feet?
>>64603061
Most of this board isn't old enough to be on here, you dumb fantanoposter
>>64616443
>Paramore never had arty pretensions
LOL - - - they were clearly of the camp that attempted harmlessly look-centric pop punk sensibilities
>>64617369
I mean arty like Bjork or something. You get what you see, great pop punk.
Post your favorite paramore song
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPUDb23CdZY
>>64603061
Paramore was popular when I was in 8th grade and I'm 24. In reality the paramore fans are probably mostly in their 20's here.
