>>64596798
what, the mushroom one? nobody likes that, it's all about SCIENCE
>>64596888
Pretty good album. My favorite doing by them though is Sick Sad Little World. Heard it live this year and now. I'm content

>remember Incubus?
Of course I do, that was one of their weaker songs though. What is everyone's favourite song by them?

their best album IMO

I like it too, pretty underrated actually. I'll never understand the hate it gets.

Yes i do. Fucking heel that song "drive" used to make me nuts, so cringe, so awful. I'm glad i haven't heard about incubus on the last 12 years.
if only they made more albums like pic related. their best work by far.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't put that song in Incubus' best 20 tracks.
>>64600325
No one has ever been able to agree on what their best is. Some of the songs on Make Yourself are the best they ever sounded for sure. My main criticism of it is that the second half just isn't as enjoyable as the first. The sitar solo in this song is pretty great.

>drive is shit
Are you guys for real? That song bangs. What incubus tracks are good, then?
>>64596727
That's their best album, Echo is a great song
>>64600844
Not him but I love Drive. Adolescents, Stellar, Pardon Me, Take Me to Your Leader, and Aquarius Transmission are all fantastic m8
>>64600844
I don't think it's bad at all, I like it a lot, I was just saying it probably wouldn't make my top 20 of their songs. Some of my favourites are Just a Phase, Summer Romance, Nowhere Fast, Idiot Box, Nebula, Here In My Room, Sick Sad Little World, Rogues, Pendulous Threads.
>>64600844
Are You In, New Skin, Deep Inside, Agoraphobia.
Incubus was my gateway into music in general. Although they were strictly a radio rock band in terms of their singles, their albums had a lot to offer from SCIENCE through to ACLOTM. Summer Romance, Sick Sad Little World, Aqueous Transmission, Just a Phase, The Warmth... they really were leagues ahead of their peers. It's weird cuz I never listen to them anymore, but I would certainly still defend them as a good band that maybe could've been more interesting if they'd been willing to experiment more.

I think that's a good point. They're clearly talented songwriters but they should have really pushed themselves to make something more daring and experimental. I think part of the reason is because Brandon is such a good singer, it was probably easy for them to write music focusing on the vocals, which lead to a more pop result. I still adore their output though, they meant a lot to me growing up.

This one is great, but I never understood why Mike did't put a complete solo on it
