Death Grips is one of the greatest musical acts of the modern age. They happen to be popular on /mu/ for obvious reasons (Positive criticism from /mu/ approved critics). They've put effort into creating something original and something that holds artistic credibility out of the thousands of boring copy cat, faux nostalghia plagiarist modern underground acts. People like to hate them either because they don't like the type of music, and that's fine, or out of spite of a large fanbase and to up ones sense of self worth through contrarianism. I can't mention anything about Death Grips outside of their own threads because I'll be given idiotic abuse regardless of my taste, it can be quite annoying. Though I do understand that the fanbase does have plenty of problems in and of itself, but that's another discussion altogether. But that discussion would be the reason why I was glad to see someone with good taste in music who also appreciates Death Grips for what they actually are.
