Half of the songs are pretty boring desu. Magpie and Little by Little don't really go anywhere. Give Up the Ghost is painfully corny. And all of the lyrics are about turtle eyes and jellyfosh or some shit

It was only 8 tracks and had a filler track. It was also followed up by a few singles that were better than a lot of material on the album and honestly the band should have waited and included those songs.
But yeah it's a great album regardless. Certainly not a massive drop in quality. Better than In Rainbows? Debateable. But not immensely worse either. Also some people saw the return of more electronic elements to the forefront as a step backward.
