Covered that new Radiohead song. I really like their version, that melody is stunning. Tried to give it more of an alternative rock feel (acoustically). Some friend said I sounded Yorke-ish, another Corgan-ish. I don't get the hate for the original. It's fucking amazing. Kid A all over.

From my experience you need to be known, and that takes a long time. These people are going to put your demo that you send them and compare it to the countless others with the same dream as you.
You need to seem profitable.
You need to stand out.
You need to go for it.
And the biggest factor here is you need to be lucky.
Myself? I have all three but the last one, I just havent been lucky yet. I havent been in the right place at the right time. Making it in such a competitive industry is hard and will take a long time full of self-doubt and vanity.
You need to ask yourself "Is it worth going for?"

Absolutely. Ive contemplated with fear and depression and anxiety and people shitting on me my whole life. And I want out. I know I can do it and theres nothing more I want in this world than be able to reach out to people through my music that have gone through the same shit, and make them feel better and make them know they are not a joke or a worthless human being. And I want to do shows. Theres nothing better than being at a show and everyone going nuts and watching your favorite artist kill it and then meeting them after and smoking with them. I need some serious help here guys. I am working on my first real project but it is for uni. One of my requirements is to get at least 10 industry professionals (all of you) to give me feedback and tips.
