Whoever started this meme: fuck off. The Great Escape and Parklife are better pop albums than anything Gorillaz put out and 13/Think Tank are absolute great rock records. Also Blur is better alone by the virtue of having Graham Coxon.

Parklike and 13 are two of the best albums of the 90s. 9.5s from Pitchfork. Have been praised endlessly since they came out. Parklike is easily the greatest Britpop album.

Their entire discography besides Leisure (their first album) is objectively great.

Gorillaz is literally just terrible rap for white kids and their entire live show is fake. It's awful. It's entirely radio garbage for all of you "wow I'm so underground" faggots that gush over it
