Never even heard of them. Lotta albums. What should I grab? And hope you like it, anon. It's a favorite. Also check out Nomeansno if you haven't already.
>>64532374
The noise Tortoise is alright. I like it but it's hit and miss for a lot of people. Yonder Blue is an amazing track in my opinion.
Don't think I've heard of 5ive Style. Will check them out.
>>64533139
Nomeansno is amazing (I just heard the cow album tho'). As for The Ex, I'm exploring their discography chronologically, and their second output, 'History Is What’s Happening' is quite good. Give this a try (only 31 minutes), if you'd enjoy it, you might wanna grab some of their most high rated records such as Blueprints for a Blackout, Tumult or Turn.
>>64531690
+++Em idk dude i still know all the lyrics from when they came out say what you will about the man, he can rap like mf, shouts out to section .80 and Snoop Dogg, I'd check out Boogie if you havent

++The Feelies and Smiths. If you havent listened to the first Girls album--Album you might wanna. slightly more heroine/beachy than either of them. still got that lovely jangle though.
>>64531904

>>64531746
++++Big Moe and Talk Talk, do you have any recs for me
>>64533185
They've always been hit or miss with me, but I like when they hit. 5ive Style is some guys from Tortoise and it's a lot funkier. Actually the best thing I have of theirs is a bootleg from the radio back east: http://www.mediafire.com/download/dxnfwh8obveqeoo/5ive_Style_Live_on_WFMU_2_17_96.zip
>>64533294
Snatching now, thanks!
>>64533497
Viet Cong don't have many releases. In fact they only have 2. Cassette and their S/T album.
As for Wire I prefer the early, more punk/post-punk stuff as opposed to the more dance-punk later years. Their newer stuff is pretty decent but their first 4 albums are amazing in my opinion.
GOOD DAY SO FAR
