Idgaf what anyone, anonymous or a major publisher, thinks. This album is easily one of their best and a strong AOTY contender.
It's got the same quality as TMS that it manages to be abrasive but still really catchy at the same time. Every song has a memorable good hook. The leak quality is obviously a major limiting factor here, but the production technique is also great and a huge improvement over JD.
This album has some of their most intense (GBPGI, title track, Hot Head etc.) tracks and some of their most mellow and weird ones like Trash and Eh. It's diversity is well executed it feels like a coherent whole.
Bottomless Pit takes all the old aspects DG was good at, but improves them greatly and progresses towards a new sound. All this while still managing to both sound like Death Grips and completely blowing our minds off at the same time.
Honestly the only complaints about this album I have are that 1. Warping doesn't quite click with me as hard as the others
2. It could be longer in my opinion.
Easy 9-9.5/10 for me.

Are you me? Warping is the only low point I can find but it's not like it's bad or anything. This album is a dreamlike amalgamation of TMS, GP, and JD, improving on each one of them. It's got a harder edge to it than TMS, more Ride than GP (while some of the songs cull from the amazing production ideas from GP), and improved production and songwriting from the guitar-centric ideas on JD.

At first I didn't think it was any better than a 6/10. A few tracks really stood out but the rest I was kind of iffy about. However, every time I've listened to it since then, I've enjoyed it more and more. I've went from thinking the opener was one of the weakest tracks to really enjoying it. I can't get all that into "Eh" but it's not bad. "Trash" isn't all that great though imo. I wouldn't give this a 10/10 right away but I would honestly say this is one of my favorite releases by them as of right now. Solid 9/10 from me.
