now that pitchfork ended drake's career, let's reflect on it.

best album?
best song?
most underrated song?
most overrated song?

personally, I put Take Care and NWTS on pretty equal footing but Over My Dead Body was his peak to me.

Drake's Career (2006-2016) banner up on p4k.gov

if only he didnt sell out
>>
p4k didn't even have the decency to give him a 6.9
>>
>>64524382
last album was just to keep his cash flow going
next one gonna be a classic
>>
>>64524404
i could hope

i wouldnt mind kissland pt 2
>>
>implying P4K is responsible for producing his mediocre pop album
>>
>>64524417
this

why was kissland p&?
>>
>>64524393
the decimals are the true slap in the face now. 6.9 means we like it a lot but it's not that good. 6.8 means we know you like it but if it weren't for advertisers we'd give it a 4
>>
So does this mean /v/ kids will stop coming to /mu/ to cry about black artists always getting easy ratings

over my dead body >>>> everything else, glad to see i'm not the only one

best album was probably if you're reading this weirdly enough.
>>
lol people not giving "Thank Me Later" love
>>
So far gone is still my favorite Drake project. I think 5am in toronto is probably my favorite track.
>>
>>64527016
because it's pretty bad
>>
>>64527016
Thank Me Later is great too. It maybe sounds a little dated nowadays but there's so many undeniable jams on that album. Find Your Love is still among his best songs, even if it a fairly blatant 808s rip off.

Abel is everything what Drake wants to be.

felt like an appropriate follow up to the mixtapes

nigga played himself with those last two albums
>>
I despise Hip Hop, I think it's trash, it's audial Duchamp for those with an overly short-concentration span and need for instant gratification.

But I love Drake and I don't know why, every Drake album has come at a specific 'moment' in my life, whether that be a new job, a new girl, a new apartment. I can even go song specific relating to certain women I've been with, thought about, got down over. Those 3AM walks home from the bar in the freezing cold were always that much better with Marvin's Room playing.

>best album?
Take Care. Went above and beyond, partly realises the bizarre beauty of being intoxicated and urban environments. Strangely reminds me of Mellon Collie.
>best song?
Paris Morton Music II
>most underrated song?
Trust Issues
>most overrated song?
Best I Ever Had

Successful is a classic song.
>"I want the money, the money and the cars, the cars, the cars and the clothes, the hoes, I suppose"

The "I suppose" gets me every time.

>>64527121
Sounds like an 808s ripoff bc Kanye produced it.
