life of pablo is the only one i've heard and it wasn't very good. lemonade is the only other one i recognize and i haven't listened to it because i don't listen to top 40 radio pop because i'm not a pleb.

4/10, massive disappointment. I mean I wasn't expecting Drake to drop a 10/10 masterpiece or anything but I expected to at least enjoy the album as a whole a little bit. His worst project since his debut (excluding WATTBA, which was mostly Future throwaways with some Drake verses tacked on).

4/10 for Views? I thought it was more a 7 desu. Reminded me of what I liked him for in the first place (Take Care), but it definitely doesn't top it. Better than Nothing was the same imo.

It felt like he was trying to take the emotion from TC and put it together with the sounds from NWTS and IYRTITL mixed together, and by doing that the beats took away from the feels and the vocals took away from the energy, so the end result was just bland. So it was a 5/10 for me on quality, but the fact that it went on for 5 more tracks than it needed to made me actively dislike it. Sticking Hotline Bling in the end was a good marketing move though, because apparently the streams and sales from that will count towards his Billboard sales.

not the guy you're responding to, but i see Views as the project that IYRTITL should've been. It sounds like his body of work to date coming full circle, with all the worst aspects of his sound (basically anything reminds me of Future) being condensed down to only 1 or 2 tracks. Also, putting Hotline Bling on the album was a mistake imo. The title track does a much better job ending the album.
It's way too damn long, and there are a few too many tracks that just don't do much for me, but that's a step up from IYRTITL. It might be his 2nd best work to date, only behind NWTS.
