Some of it's cool (Green Eyes, Idiot, Super Soaker, a couple others I can't remember), but Nathan's vocals can get really grating and the whole "hey I'm a constantly stoned piece of shit" theme tires itself out quick. Cool. The cover from their 2014 album caught my eye back then and they've been on my backlog ever since. What do you think about that one?
>>
>>64528477
Right?
A ton of people were talking about how much of a disappointment it was, I think its great. They're starting to sound more like a psych rock band, and that's just where I wanted them to go with their sound.

>>64528500
It's pretty good too. The band's thing before that album was kind of just making quirky unconventional noisy arrangements with pop melodies, but that album was really when they focused those skills into good songs. I'd consider the EP a continuation of that sound.
>>
>>64528539
i wish it was longer tho, i don't know what their process is or if they're super perfectionists but taking that long for a 5 song ep is kinda disappointing

was going through a bit of a suicidal break when this finally got released, that last track really got to me. i mean sure the lyrics are a bit sophomoric but fuck something about finally hearing lsd have new music with that intro to Heaven all the way to that closing bit. pure frission

I consider both their releases 10s for different reasons, and i love the way that this new one has a blend of shit ranging from manon meurt/ EoST/nowhere era ride/ and other homages alongside a progression into more psychedelic and dreamy riffs than pure gaze.

Seriously Elizabeth is straight off of that manon meurt s/t release

you must be new.

Anyway, this is nice. Soothing, and with a nice voice. Bring it to a Soundcloud thread next time, though.

Can't, I listened to it today.

I don't know man. Molly's been talking about new stuff in interviews for sometime now. I hope it's soon though. Really loved that album, should check out molly's ep if you haven't yet.
>>
>>64541070
we're not /mu/.
>>
What would an LSD and the Search for God EP sound like?
>>
>>64543083
It would push the limits on just how psychedelic pure sound can get.
>>
What's a good shugazi band to see live?
Have any of you guys seen Lush live?
Would it be worth it for me to go?
>>
Is ASDIG THE best band out right now or what?
>>
>>64543132
If the tickets are cheap you might as well go. I hear Slowdive are good live, never heard anything about Lush though.

Never been to a shoegaze show myself, no idea what they're like.
>>
>>64543132
i saw deerhunter live they were awesome
>>
>>64543132
Swirlies are great and Creepoid are also good live.
>>
>>64518606
I can't tell if I like dream pop or I just like Molly

can't wait for their new album. Dreams is amazing
>>
>>64498758
Yes
It's All Too Much is proto-shoegaze
>>
>>64509900
why is the production on this ep so fucking terrible?
>>
>>64543132
Slowdive is great live. Feels like the best kind of relaxing dream.

My Bloody Valentine was absolutely beautiful. I hope they do another tour and release a new song this decade.

Deerhunter and Beach House are pretty great too.
>>
how do i use dream pop to get rid of this unhappiness thing
>>
>>64546274
it doesn't get rid of it
>>
>>64546600
that sucks
>>
So do people favor noisy or not noisy shoegaze?
>>
Do we still think LSD and the Search for God is able to save shoegaze?
>>
>>64546623
Save shoegaze from what?
>>
>>64546623
They're not that good m8.
>>
>>64546633
Irrelevance.
>>
>>64546647
It's too late for that.
>>
>>64544768
You probably like both.
I think that's usually the case.

Hey guys, gimmie your picks for the noisiest shoegaze albums ever... along the lines of Whitenoisesuperstar, Grandeur of hair, The First Train... etc. (No blackgaze)
