Is The Powers That B a kanye diss? The intro sounds like a Yeezus track, particularily similar to I Am A God and Send it up, along with the Kanyesque flow, then all the stuff like IM ON THIS SHIT YOURE NOT and IM NOT ACTING LIKE LIKE IT oR NAWT , implying kanye jacked his style but isnt a crazy fucking hobo nigga? share your thoughts and memes /mu/

Oh yeah, I forgot that Kanye began working on Yeezus in 2012. Anyway, that just makes it even more likely that Kanye was influenced by them. He probably saw them blowing up and knew that industrial hip hop would become a trend.

Yeezus was influenced by European fashion show culture. The only people who ever drew the comparison to DG is /mu/ because we were riding MC Rides dick particularly hard when Yeezus came out. Yeezus is electronic and industrial sure but Death Grips didn't invent that. None of the songs really attempt to sound like Death Grips outside of New Slaves and I Am a God.
>>
>>64497107

>>
>>64497203
>Kanye drones really think otherwise
>>
>>64497214
The aesthetic is industrial. The way Kanye approached it isn't even similar to how Death Grips approaches it though. Death Grips is very busy, very spastic, and very harsh. Kanye went for a smoother, more methodical style. It's sharp and industrial yes, but the idea that he was trying to be Death Grips is absurd. If you take a look at the fashion shows he was going to at the time (in 2013 that was basically his life), the aesthetic and vibe of the album fits that culture way more.
>>
>>64497080
Yeezus was inspired by the aesthetics of fashion designers of the likes of Rick Owens. Kanye's production team said they were aware of Death Grips but the album wasn't inspired by them it was inspired acid house and electro.

Well, I see where you're coming from. This reminds me of a silly anecdote: When I masturbate I rarely do so when my penis is fully erect. I prefer to do it when it's a combination of semi-rigid, yet still a firm enough engorged mass that is easy to manipulate. You really have to choke down on the shaft, I mean, to a near agonizing degree where your tip has begun to turn red and it seizures up and down like it is starving for oxygen and desperately gulping for a breath.

Sometimes if I overshoot my mark I will beat my dick against my desk, since it's a hard surface and tends to always work out. I keep slapping my dick until it reaches a preferable firmness that I can work with.

I enjoy stroking my dick and watching the tip flop back so I can witness my pulsating urethra mouth to me how bad it wants me to punish it further. "Please finger fuck me ", it moans. I'm not really into that type of thing, unless it was forcibly done to me, like, I was on all fours and someone was milking me from behind with latex gloves. I digress.

When I am about to cum I use my free hand and knuckle down on my tip and begin to rock my knuckles back and forth. It feels incredible. I eventually reach the point where I can no longer hold back and my pleasure has built to such a degree that I would only be senselessly teasing myself if I didn't release it.

I spray my thick pungent load all over a carefully placed sheet of printer paper. After I have squeezed out every last drop I carefully roll the piece of paper into a funnel, taking great care not to spill a drop. I then proceed to place the end into my mouth and drink my own cum.

By this time I have become greatly ashamed of my behavior and have crawled into bed debating whether or not I should kill myself.

Wrong. Death Grips just has a bunch of edgy fans that won't admit that Kanye is good. Kanye has a lot of fans who thinks he's GOAT. I thoroughly enjoy both.

they're noise-hop

there's a pretty big difference

Kanye is for children with terrible taste. Death Grips are for autistic children, but damn if it doesn't get me hype as fuck during workouts

I like them both too, but I'm not a retarded hipster to think that world revolves around DG. Their fans really think they're pioners of genre they play into.

>fashion show aesthetic fits much more than DG

Agree x100. Arca's gay clubbing/fashion catwalk sound and Daft Punk's mildly fruity French house lord over this much more than a California punk rock band
