Controversial winner of Eurovision 1965. Gall was allegedly booed during rehearsals due to her performance of "Poupée de cire, poupée de son" being too "pop" for Eurovision. She won the competition for Luxembourg nonetheless.

When will /mu/ and /fa/ fuck?
So I requested a few italo prog albums during the last few minutes of the previous episode in exchange for some south american folk.
I ended up using Soulseek and got everything else I needed but the other guy did upload two albums for me, so of course I'll return the favour:
Leda Valladares y María Elena Walsh - Entre Valles Y Quebradas, Vol.I & II, 1957
Two of the most renowned Argentine folklorists spent a few years touring the argentine northwest, collecting and recording songs representing a number of traditional styles (Zamba, Chacarera, Carnavalito, Huayno, Bagüala, Vidala, etc), and edited the bulk of it in two volumes.
This is but a humble introduction to both argentine folk and the traditional music of the Cuyo/Puna region (northwestern Argentina, northern Chile, western Bolivia and southern Perú) with an emphasis on the music from the argentine provinces of Salta, Jujuy, Catamarca and Tucumán. Strongly emotional at times, shamelessly playful at others, these two women play all instruments and sing on all tracks, intertwining their voices beautifully without losing focus of the music itself. A great "how do I into" for south american folklore.

Joel Vandroogenbroeck - Biomechanoïd
>“Biomechanoid was a Joel Vandroogenbroeck project but it sounds nothing like Brainticket [the amazing psychedelic band of which Vandroogenbroeck was the leader and songwriter]. The music was inspired by the paintings of H. R. Geiger. If you know the Swiss painter's work you'd expect this album to be rather dark, which it mostly is. The music is almost entirely electronic with occasional acoustic piano bits. The music is often more than a bit bizarre, sometimes reminiscent of Conrad Scnitzler's wilder works or perhaps Asmus Tietchens. At times you get the feeling of a science fiction B-movie soundtrack. Biomechanoid is deeply experimental stuff and definitely an acquired taste.” A much loved record among connoisseurs of early electronic psychedelia.

Oneohtrix Point Never - Ruined Lives (FLAC, Boomkat-sourced)
>Synth, ambient, space music
This is, in my opinion, the best of the Ridge Valley Digital reissues; tracks 1-3 do not appear anywhere else but Ships Without Meaning appears on Rifts mixed slightly differently. Actual Air does not appear on Rifts, the original 2009 issue of Rifts mislabels Time Decanted as Actual Air. Let me know what you think of it.
I just ordered Skyramp's Days of Thunder and Infinity Window's Trans Fat from Discogs, so expect to see those to pop up in a few weeks in glorious FLAC.

>Why am I posting this instead of linking to his bandcamp?
Because for whatever reason, Skeleton decided to delete all of his albums off his bandcamp except his first three, which is a damn shame, because many of his post-Reflections releases are really, really good. This is an archive taken by someone else of everything 骨架的 has released up until 2016, including Poor Homme, an album that was only up for a limited time before being taken down and replaced with this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmANLFV7uWY
We'll probably never find out why this happened, I'm theorizing something along the lines of Poor Homme being too personal ala The Residents - Not Available.

Kevin Ayers - Whatevershebringswesing (1971)

Kevin Ayers - Bananamour (1973)
>Tend to be more rock-ish; it's still patchy but there are some gems (the B-face mostly) where his distinctive chill deep voice is very great.

KEVIN AYERS dump part 2 [320kbps]
===========================
Kevin Ayers, John Cale, Eno, and Nico - June 1st 1974
>"Its now near common knowledge that John Cale was not particularly happy on the day of the Rainbow theatre performance, having discovered Ayers sleeping with his wife the day before." That's why this live is kinda disappointing imho.

Lady June - Lady June's Linguistic Leprosy (1974)
>Experimental, spoken-word, Canterbury scene. Kevin Ayers & Brian Eno wrote background music (w/ the help of Pip Pyle from Gong, and David Vorhaus from White Noise) while their friend, a poet called Lady (Robert Wyatt fell from her apartment during a party) June recite some improvised poetry. Forgettable.

Kevin Ayers - The Confessions Of Dr. Dream And Other Stories (1974)
>Progressive pop. More rock-ish effort (thanks the new guitarist) similar to his '71 LP but overall it's less charming.

Kevin Ayers - Sweet Deceiver (1975)
>More straightforward pop/rock songs: no more progressive elements. Elton John helped for the piano parts.

Uh, yeah- Hello, bandcamp employee. Yes, I'm aware bandcamp exists. In fact, I like it and use it quite often. This doesn't mean I wish to see sharethreads shitted up with random releases, however- so please put your 'emotrap' shite in the bandcamp thread.

>implying any rant is needed at all
I will not affirm or deny anything about myself, but anyone who listens to rap is the least suitable person to make such judgements, because their tastes are a clear reflexion of their dulled mental capacity.

Was doing pretty good until he misspelled reflection and derailed the whole post.
