what should i get for 100gb+ collection?
iPod Classic, but you won't get one new now. Not for a reasonable price anyway

Bump because I'm looking for one, too. I'd hate to share my phone's battery with a music player.
My old MP3's battery lasts about a week and a half.
FiiO X3 is great, works as a DAC too. have had mine since winter and I love it. Go for it.

Can the FiiO player
scrobble?
what the hell does that even mean
FiiO X1 is just grand, no real reason to get the more expensive ones unless you're a serious audiophile

Is there some way to transfer playcounts on these device to a last.fm account (scrobbling)?
>>64424145
hell if i know, I don't use last fm

cool, thanks anon

Nah, the Fiios are made for one purpose and that is listening to music, there's no extra's like scrobbling or fancy visualizers, just a file browser, playlist creator, an equalizer and some settings like random, repeat etc.
I have personally only used the X1, but the X3 and X5 seem to be much the same. The X7 on the other hand is just a smartphone without sim.
