really the only album of his i'd say isn't that good is clang of the yankee reaper. discover america still has a lot of cool stuff musically, and jump and tokyo rose are both really good. arrangements vol I is a good group of songs, and songs cycled is at least interesting, though his vocals sound very aged. super chief is cool too if you're into western instrumentals, but for me it's non-essential.
orange crate art is good too but brian wilson's vocals are a little off putting
