I have decided to go with Tidal after spending many days sub both to Spotify and Tidal.
Eventhough Tidal lacks many artist and albums in terms of variety. Tidal has a more compplete diacography and also the onlt one carrying prince discography. I still think that its the better choice simply because i have 40 million flac version songs and not have to deal with foobar and soulseek.
Spotify may have better variety but it still is 320kbps and not flac. So i think its worth it and will just use soulseek to feel up wat is missing on tidal.
So here uses tidal?

I used tidal before. Protip, learn to use a packet sniffer and download the flac files/archive them. I use google music now. 320k is good enough for me, I use gmusicproxy to grab the files.

I have both and I'm well acquainted with them. I got tons of ratio on what.cd from uploading stuff I got off streaming services for free. If you're going to pay for it might as well make the most of it.

its hard to tell a well encoded 320mp3 from a lossless format with most regular audio gear. if you are using bluetooth for anything then it will sound like shit either way
the biggest minus against spotify is that they do some post processing to "punch up" tracks which can really fuck up some songs mastered at low levels or with high dynamic range

Anyway, Tidal still doesn't have plenty of music that I enjoy. It's not worth it for anyone who enjoys classical or traditional music.

I got 2 years of tidal for free, so i use it from time to time. It's decent, doesn't seem much different from spotify etc.

Lol i use my senheiser 650 here and a seperate DAC plus tube amps, so yeah i can tell the difference between these two. My iem tiplefi 10 can detect the difference a little better

OP what package deal do you recommend for me? I want to nut in your face.
Tidal is a good streaming service, however the price is just to ridiculous and the selection isn't as justified as Spotify or even Apple Music. I feel like Tidal is quality but no quantity, but charges more than any of these premium services.
Also if you like music videos, which isn't grabbing me towards tidal at all since YouTube is a thing, then go for it.
