it's a good album, Pulleys and Applesauce are really great songs. and I secretly like playing Rosie Oh on guitar and singing like panda.
Really fun album, with some duds. Not their best. Painting With is better overall but didn't really leave me excited to hear more. Unless Deak comes back, cause Sleep Cycle was really great.
i don't think there are any bad songs, it's just that about 80% of them are 1-2 minutes too long. it makes it an exhausting (and sometimes frustrating) listen.

They memed themselves. The hype on mu was so huge when it released that it was bound to disappoint (and it did, in a big way. Everyone here hated it when it came out). I've never been a huge AnCo fan beyond the stray song or two, but I really enjoyed it. Moonjock is probably top 5 of their songs for me, and the album remains pretty consistently listenable, which isn't a guarantee for them. I saw them (@ MPP, which was cool) during this tour, and they killed it. Set design was 10/10.

Exactly. The songwriting on CH is as good as any of their other albums, but the production is weak.
also Father Time is awful. PW, the production was okay but the song writing is so uninsprired it hurts.
