I like Drone/Doom and Funeral-Doom, so I figured noise music would be a good fit. I've been rezommended Merzbow. Before I dive in and die, I was hoping for an explanation about what I was about to Google.
He's released alot of stuff, not all of it is good.

Doom metal, only way slower, more detuned, and vocals done in funereal styles, like dirges and chants. Growls also happen. Ahab and Murkrat are two of my faves.
