What are your thoughts on this /mu/?
Overrated by its fans who only say it's his best album to be a contrarian special snowflake but still a good album.

Could you try again and this time focus on the album and not other people.

This. It's pretty good, but fourth best album for me. It's his best album cover though. The bootlegs are GOAT
"My Father's House" hits me really hard, for obvious reasons.
The rest of the album is alright, I guess.

Muh Suicide influence
Pretty great, helped me a lot over the usual Christmas depression.
A fantastic album that highlights a unique step in his career. He focuses more on the story and characters rather than the songs themselves, though I personally enjoy them a lot. Most of them are gentle, calm songs which really contrast the dark and depressing shit going on.
I see this as one of his most honest albums, one which gives a good look into the limits of human depravity. 8/10

its funny. patricians claim its his best album while bruce fans say its his worst. imo its below every single album he put out before this honestly
my favorite album of his
Johnny 99 is top 10 Springsteen songs
its really good
My 3rd favorite Springsteen lp.
My Father's House kills me.
I like to think that those who think Nebraska is Springsteen's best don't actually like Bruce's music.

3rd best studio record. darkness is obviously #1 and i have a fondness for river. nebraska is fucking phenomonal
Darkness > Born to Run > Asbury = Nebraska > River = Shuffle > Born in the USA
Born in the USA has good songwriting but the production kills it for me
