So, here's the story of the potential Trash single / Death Grips involvement in The Caged Pillows:
Galen Pehrson (who made Death Grips' True Vulture video) announces his film The Caged Pillows will be released in April.
He then uploads a clip to his instagram with Ride screaming, captioned with "April 19".
On April 19, Death Grips give out the Bottomless Pit release date and lyrics.
Galen Pehrson then uploads a similar clip, this one features a Text to Speech program saying "we upload trash because nothing lasts forever", "we upload trash" being a repeated lyric in Trash.
Galen Pehrson's other account, used to promote The Caged Pillows, uploads a picture of him with Andy and Zach, captioned "we know trash". He quickly deletes this photo.
Just recently, Pehrson changed the caption on his latest video to "May 2nd", and uploaded a new video in which the Text to Speech program said that "a very special message" would be given at 11:59pm, May 1st. The official Death Grips instagram account (@bbpoltergiest) liked this video.
