You make an album. Who of these guys should produce it? IMO Eno,

You make an album. Who of these guys should produce it?
IMO Eno, cause Albini will make it noisy, and Aphex will make it meme.
>>
I'm not that into all the alternative stuff Albini produces. Don't hate it, just not that interesting to me.

Eno hasn't done anything that interesting in a while.

RDJ is great but he's really his own thing, he would make anything into an RDJ album.
>>
albini
he's the cheapest
>>
>>64371258
From interviews I've seen with Albini, he sounds pretty passive in the studio. He'd probably do whatever you told him to do, though he does have a style he's best at.

That being said I'd choose him. I just really like his dedication to an organic, live mixing style. Personal taste.

Eno, I don't really give a shit about Aphex, and for some reason I just can't stand anything produced by Albini other than Big Black.
>>
>>64371258
Has Aphex ever produced stuff for other artists?
>>
>>64371258
aphex, he will make it brilliantly sick at best, but there's a chance he'll make Drukqs out of it
>>
>>64371606
i 99% sure he didn't
>>
>>64371258
>meme

You're using that word again, I don't think you know what it means. Fuck off and kill yourself.
>>
>>64371258
dude brian eno even made coldplay good

that should give you your answer
>>
>>64371258
Albini. The sterotype that he makes evrything noisy isnt true anymore. he used to have his very own albini style that was kinda annoying but he got over it (everything he touched sounded like fucking shellac). He is now a lot more versatile. Also I am a big fan. The other 2 focus on electronic music, if I was a musician I would make a post hardcore album so fuck em
>>
>>64371730
Is Q:Are we not men? A:We are DEVO electronic?
>>
>>64371258
>cause Albini will make it noisy
Albini is just a sound engineer who makes accurate recordings of how the artist sounds like without studio polishing.

The reality is that YOU will be noisy, not Albini.
>>
Albini will literally produce it if I buy him a dinner so I pick him
>>
>>64371520
yeah, albini has said he likes the artist to do their thing with little overview
>>
>>64371258
>Aphex will make it meme
What the fuck does that even mean?
>>
>>64371784
>>64371765
Show me Albini produced non-noisy album.
>>
Eno, just personal taste and the fact that I prefer things he's produced to things Albini has. I don't think RDJ has produced anything for anyone else
>>
>>64371808
Just quoting the guy himself
>>
>>64371808

Oh sorry, then I wasn't right.
Still keeping Eno part tho.
>>
>>64371258
i'd choose aaron ellis
>>
>>64371606
He was asked to produce a mod inns album in the 90's. Willian orbit ended up doing it as aphex wanted Madonna to squeal like a pig for him to do it
>>
>>64371258

Considering I do guitar music, Albini.

Would also accept working with Pitbull.
>>
i would actually love richard to go into producing artists
he's a mean engineer
>>
Ick. None of them. I dont make music they would like, so we would just fight about everything.
>>
>>64371509
>RDJ is great but he's really his own thing, he would make anything into an RDJ album.
Good point.
>>
Eno producing my Electro-Acoustic Free Jazz project would be amazing.

Manfred Eicher is still the dream though.
>>
>>64374165
>producing free jazz

why is this funny
>>
>>64374319

Eno to produce it. Albini can engineer it.

Also nearly any Magnolia Electric Co. album
>>
I'd choose Mutt Lange over any of them because he can make candy from shit.

RJD doesn't produce for others.

Eno has burned out long ago. He did what amaing job with U2 and Talking Heads, but I don't think he could do that now.

Albini is great, but he's no magician. He does that kind of Stooges' Fun House-style production, like >>64371765 said. He does it well but that's all.

Mutt Lange has consistently made everything sound exceptionally clear, with 10/10 mixing. His production skills are literally unmatched.
>>
I play lame Post-Hardcore so Albini
>>
>>64371743
It's got some nice abrasive synth work on a few songs
