I fucking hate Du Hast and find it one of the most annoying songs of recent history, but I love a lot of what this band has done. Possibly THE best mainstream metal band of the last 20 years.
It's one of the only bands that I listened to as an 8 year old metalhead that I still like hearing today from time to time. Their albums aren't that good but some songs really stand out. It's simple as fuck but I like the energy. But I also speak German and Till's lyricism is definitely the best thing about their music, it's a genuine pity most people don't understand what he's saying. Till is fucking bad at writing English lyrics tho.
