Geek the Girl is pretty good, its sort of like if Mark was a girl, in that it has musical similarities and deals with generally the same themes as RHP but from a female perspective.

I actually like how the quality varies greatly within albums. Like with Stratosphere, it starts off relatively clean, then the middle of the album sounds like it's being played in the next room, then it clears up again for the finale. It's like the space trip (or hard drug trip) from the lyrics is brought to life by how the album sounds. You get shot up, drift, then come back to Earth.
I post this almost every time, but listen to it if you like indie/slowcore.

Every song on that album is a masterpiece, they have such a pure sound. I wonder who their biggest influences were, it's strange that a band so far from everyone else created some of the finest music in the entire genre.
