It'll usually say "20** remaster" at the end of it. Just check to make sure the date is from the year the album came out.
1990. It was the first one I listened to, and I always feel like the remaster sounds just wrong whenever I listen to it. Megadeth Remasters are notorious for being shit.

As for what I usually listen to, it's kinda hard to give you a straight answer. I love trippy stuff and interesting alt-rock, but I usually bounce around between genres. I stick my toes into just about anything I can find, but I do have a soft spot for Blues-ey Metal like Black Sabbath's S/T and Stoner metal. Oh, and first and second wave Post-rock. Sue me.

I don't know whether I'm looking forward to their newest album or not since I liked the vocalist of Think This more. That whole album was pretty much perfect.
I haven't properly listened to any metal for like 8 or 9 years but I still like Thrash (and Power) Metal, I don't keep up with it though. Surprised to see Anthrax released a new album this year, I always liked them because they didn't take themselves super seriously.

Fog of War's Here Lies Humanity is so dank. The riffwork is just solid and the bass doing cool shit while the three guitarists go Iron Maiden without devolving into pure cheese is top notch.

I don't know what it is about them but Voivod is one of those acclaimed bands that I just can't seem to like. I listened to their shit a lot before deciding it must just be because I don't really enjoy their work and everyone else seems to.
