Hey
I fucking hate digipacks
>>64318716
nice blog faggot
You right.
Jewel boxes were fine until the environmentalist movement (which I actually support) went too far and lobbied some labels to change packaging.
I don't want to live in 150° weather, I support environment causes...BUT, to me the fucking digipacks are worse because of the trees coming down for paper and the weird chemical glues they use.
Physical copies of music are dying anyway unfortunately, we have streaming & digital audio files (mp3, WMA, flac) etc.that sound worse than 16/44.1 CD's and if your "account" gets fucked you'll lose the digital rights you pay to listen to songs. We rent music now, or with streaming we pay for radio with quality below that of satellite radio. Sucks...

Why? I don't have any opinion one way or the other on them.

i really need to get a what.cd i'm so annoyed with 320kbps on slsk.
i couldn't care less what the plebs do as long as i can still get my FLAC rips.
well, when artists put out music solely on streaming services is when i'll get concerned, but i doubt any artists i like will do that.

they're usually made with shit paper
>>64319061
They feel cheap as hell, don't stack cleanly like jewel cases, don't offer as much protection, the list can go on.

Spotify, nigga
>High quality streaming
>Not paying for individual songs like a chump
Cmon bruh
I hate that digipacks would be cheaper to produce, but because they're patented, they're more expensive than a jewelcase due to royalties.
I like minimal digipacks. For example, Further Down the Spiral v2

Mini LPs are the answer. Cheaper to produce, practical, good looking.

I never really noticed that all that much, but I guess that makes sense.
Still better than a cardboard sleeve with the CD slotted in the side, or worse this type.

>still buying plastic

>tfw my doolittle special edition is just like your pic
>tfw listened to it 3 times and the CD's are already scratched as fuck
i like digipacks, but my copy of humbug is a piece of shit, it's bigger than any other CDs on my collection and it really annoys me
