Is /bleep/ the worst general on /mu/?
>muh shitty EDM is so superior
>much shitty DJs who press play are better than THOSE shitty DJs who press play because they're more obscure
>only listen to singles like a fucking normie pleb and always shit on the idea of albums
>actually dare to shit on people who listen to albums
>home to some of the most cancerous memes and shitposting on /mu/
Fuck these goddamn nerds. They're worse than most EDM "bros" because they've actually deluded themselves into thinking that their shitty music is any different from other EDM and try to act pretentious about it.
Hell they'll even praise trap rap and the shittiest Top 40 songs and pretend that they're actually "patrician" dance music
haha yeah
i know they're not very nice to new people but you dont have to make a thread about it
salty

>It's another "Is /bleep/ the worst general on /mu/?" episode
when did bleep becum a meme
>>64315924
/bleep/ doesn't really listen to shitty EDM. Techno is massive where I live so I listen to it with friends a lot but I listen to albums when I'm by myself. I like /bleep/ for finding new shit but it seems to be full of "lads having banter" which is so fucking annoying
Nice cntl+v
>>64315924
Bawww, what's wrong faggot? Did /bleep/ hurt your feelings when you linked a brostep track you discovered from GTA?
/bleep is pretty good
>>64315924
nice pasta, op
>>>/meta/
>this is what some posters on /mu/ actually believe
I know a lot of you are underage Americans whose closest foray into "proper" dance music is Burial or James Blake or Jamie XX or whatever pitchfork tells you is good, but come on, is it that hard to read a fucking wikipedia article or two? Get educated before you make posts like this.

>>64315924
yes it is, now fuck off m8
yeah, stay away from it
>>64317502
I'm late 20s and from London and I agree with everything OP said
nah, /metal/ and /emoe/ are worse by default considering how across-the-board terrible those genres are
/bleep/ /meta/ /kpop/ are contained. They don't bother anyone. The rapfags and the avant teens destroyed this place though.
>>64319431
I take it aren't very interested in or knowledgeable about dance music, are you? I mean, for fucks sake, "EDM" is a fucking American term used to label a very strict set of musical styles that are decidedly not /bleep/
If the aim of reposting this is to keep the /mu/ scum from /bleep/ then keep up the good work.
WORST: KPOP
Waifufags does not belong on a music discussion board.
>>64319724
nah I just like Squarepusher
>>64319965
Yeah, he's pretty good, but definitely a different type of "dance" music for a totally different audience. It's apples and oranges really. But the uk dance music scene has a really interesting history/culture surrounding it that everything is rooted in.
/Bleep/ at least escapes the shitty taste of /mu/. Even if it has shitty chav posting, at least it's not a bunch of Fantano wannabes.
>>64319833
Agreed.
