Do people really have trouble just listening to a whole album? Nobody puts on a movie and says "hmm, I don't like this scene, I'll skip to the good part"
this is easily Jasons best album
pretty much any album i dont like skipping songs cause it breaks the flow and i just dont like it
however iff say im listening to an album on spotify or youtube and im not feeling it i just turn it off

i feel like /mu/ has kinda fucked me up in that now i basically can only listen to music in an album format. like just listening to one song outside of the context of the record feels weird unless it's on the radio
you guys ruined me
I listen to every album that way, you fucking gutter trash.
TLOP, MBDTF, the list goes on...
I usually skip All of the lights interlude though, and All of the lights

My recent funk binge has cured me of that because there's so many great funk tracks that were only released as singles, so I end up seeking out individual tracks or just loading up a playlist of some deep funk goodness and hitting shuffle. First time in my life I've actually used shuffle. But if I look up a track and find that it was included on an LP by the artist, then listening to it by itself still feels wrong and I have the compulsion to find the whole album and listen in the order it was intended.
