Space rock and space disco are genres, although I'm not sure how much actually deals with space. In the space age there was some symphonic exotica-type stuff going on based on speculating about future space living and stuff.

Rush's Hemispheres dialogue is really good and the first song is about a dude flying into a black hole to see what will happen. The second song deals with another world, where the pilot's spirit ends up after he goes through it.
A lot of Betwen the Buried and Me's Parallax II: Future sequence takes part in space, and so does the song Sun of Nothing by them. There's a good eurobeat song called space boy, but that's just filler lyrics i guess.
