I can tell that this picture is pretty dank, but I have no idea what it is trying to say.
>Say Anything

Well hers is being a dyke.
>Jay Reatard
He's dead.
>>64262627
Is A Real Boy is one of the greatest pop punk albums ever. everything else was kinda meh. hebrews was aight
>>64262757
it's my favourite album of all time, and Say Anything are my favourite band of all time. Tbh if you love ...Is A Real Boy I can't understand why you wouldn't also love In Defense of the Genre
Sure he's a great artist, but he was an awful and horribly flawed individual.
And yet people worship him like a god.
>>64262721
He was a such a beautiful man
>>64262905
I feel the exact opposite, his music was bland and unenjoyable, but as a person he was very interesting.
coolguy/10, but shit music. He was a much better painter
literally nothing except for the fact that Mark stopped making masterpieces after 1998

<3
>>64263144
Yeah, I know he had an interesting life. Doesn't mean he wasn't an asshole.
>>64263144
>he was very interesting.

all her songs have really simple chord progressions.
Every chord used in her five most popular songs is either A, C, D, G, F#, E, or B (except one use of Fmaj one time)
>>64263320
I'm just curious, how was he an asshole?
other than his threats over the phone that courtney forced him into? He seems too awkward to actively be an asshole
He's too ambitious. It feels like he has a manic episode and churns out an album in a weekend, and by next weekend he's onto another episode, another style, another collage of mismatched puzzle piece that are beautiful in their own right, but never quite coalesce.
also father john misty's fucking awful personality
>>64263201
patrician as fuck
>>64263464
I'm not even sure what that comic is trying to say. I recently listened to Honeybear, and while I get it's all self-deprecating and at times sarcastic, I don't think it's annoyingly self-conscious.
>>64262540
is she downsyndromecore?
>>64263617
Yes, aka strayacore
>>64263423
that's his personality showing through his music. which is a good thing. it means he's making music that contains an actual part of himself. you can't criticize someone for that i don't think.
>>64263392
I'm not going to spoon feed you.
Do your own research and come up with your own conclusion.
Camel's biggest problem is that despite the beautiful music they make, they never take any risks and it can get rather dull.
>>64264115
We all came to the conclusion that you're wrong

>kill the rockefellers
*tips tin-foil hat*
No label will probably put their albums out anymore
he is an completely over-the-top music maker, but hardly keeps the ground under his feet.

>implying Standard Oil's legacy isn't real
>>64262721
hell be fine
Short hair
Never performs in my country.
Erak's vocals have (d)evolved into sounding like an X Factor reject who is also in a pop punk band.
Also their album art is awful with the exception of their S/T and OK, both don't look too bad.
he killed some bandmate idk
he's too cute
Kanye has no faults
Kanye is perfect
Kanye is lord
I love Kanye

>calling someone a "horribly flawed individual" for banter
the music
>Godspeed You Black Emperor
Efrim smokes and has edgy handwriting
>Nick Cave
>he's been a star for like 40 years and clearly has no perspective on what any other kind of life is like, which cramps his otherwise really impressive range.
>>64263504
if you watch any interviews with FJM, he's kind of purposely ironically pretentious. I personally think it's hilarious but I get how it would turn people off.
>>64263379
So what?

where you from man ? I saw her 3 times
