5s are my all-time favorites
4.5s are my current favorites
4s are above average music
3s are good/nice/interesting at the very least
and 1.5s are shit that didn't do anything for me, not enjoyable, terrible, boring, etc

This is what happen on their minds.
They Believe that 5.0 stars means EXACTLY only 5.0 stars
But 5.0 means any score between 4.75 and 5.0, 5.0 only means exactly 5.0 if rym allowed you to give any rating you wanted to albums, including 4.9999999998887899.
Now typing this made me imagine a rym voting system that insntead of selecting the amount of stars, you had a text field where you can write any score you want . as long it is between 0.5 and 5.0
