trying to take all of your ratings and compare them to each other is retarded. just rate albums how you feel about them in the moment. if you hate an album, rate it a fucking 2. if you love an album, rate it an 8. stop thinking "oh wow! i love this fucking album, it's aoty! it's the greatest album i've heard in years! but oh, wait, i can't rate it an 8 because that would mean that it's objectively better than [insert classic album]
