>Southern pioneer, paved the way for all future southern acts with the Geto Boys during the initial domination of East/West Coast hip-hop
>The original paranoid gangsta: Influenced Biggie and 2pac (who are considered by most the greatest of the genre) with paranoia infused lyrics, and dealing with drug dealing/crime in the first person
>One of the most consistent rappers in the industry, has never dropped a bad album
>Takes a long history of southern music like blues/country where he deals with depressing topics and details his troubling life akin to hiphop blues
>Has created which is considered one of the best hip-hop songs ever made (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbQEI4Wt70w)
Why hasn't his legacy been cemented by the general hip-hop community? Every rapper in the game holds him in "awe", they literally refer to him as "your favorite rapper's favorite rapper" but leave it at that.
