always a toss up between this and tomboy for being his best album
what do you hate about it?
for that album i'm the complete opposite, tbqh. deep down i know its just mediocre reverb-laden psych-pop urban outfitters core, but the songs get stuck in my head all the time.

I just prefer the sound aesthetic that he has going on it personally. I don't think that anything really sounds exactly like it. I also think that the songwriting is great; the only problem is that the melodies are on repeat, but they themselves are extremely catchy and memorable imo
I mean Person Pitch is a 10 too, just not as strong a 10 as Tomboy or PBVSGR for me
Tomboy is the most relate-able to me though

Totally. How the hell is it so catchy? I was really surprised at that. But, the spoken word..ugh
The amount of dissonance between the first track, LYSFLATH, and the rest of Storm just kills any want in me to listen to the rest of the album, every single time without fail. I understand that's part of the point, but if I wanted to listen to depressing post-rock I'd listen to F#A#Infinity.

Yeah I get why a lot of people love GLU, in fact I'd say that's Atmosphere's most popular album next to Seven's Travels, but I gotta give it to Lucy Ford, Sad Clown Bad Dub II, Lemons, YCIHMFWH, etc.

idk I've always seen it as a journey. It's the most cinematic godspeed album. It's supposed to go from storm to the desolation of static and sleep then back up again with Lift Yr. Skinny Fists.

I guess I could see it being dismaying. For me, the heavier moments only make the happier parts stand out even more-and the ending of Antennas To Heaven is beautiful.
