yeah I mean I guess I kind of agree it's a bit more 'dancey' than his other tracks but I really don't think it's a complete style shift. and I still think the track is a great one, it's just less gritty, if that makes sense

Allow me to expound upon my boring analysis: When I say "nigger-tier", I'm referring to the unabashedly formulaic nature of R&B and hip-hop-related music. And while whites are certainky guilty of making hackneyed music as well, we're not taking about Country or rock-related music.
Andy Stott usually does a good job of appropriating Jig-music and elevating it from its knuckle-dragging roots; however, this track would indicate that he's relegated himself to merely emulating music that you'd hear from a typical, run-of-the-mill, Alt-R&B artist.
