Their best album?
arguably. though I like Murmur and Document just as well. Some are going to post Automatic for the People, though
Fall on Me is goat
New Adventures in Hi-Fi
It's Reckoning for me
Murmur > Reckoning > Automatic > Fables > Pageant > Green > Document > Out of Time > Up > Hi-Fi > Monster > Accelerate > Collapse > Reveal > Around the Sun
100% objectively true btw. inb4 contarians get mad at Automatic being "too high".

Murmur > Document > Pageant > Green > Reconing > Automatic > Out of Time > Fables > Monster > New Adventures >>>> Accelerate > Reveal > Up >Collapse > Around the Sun

Would switch Automatic and Murmur, otherwise nice

New Adventures should be put higher, otherwise spot on
Murmur best IRS.
Automatic For The People best post-IRS.
Which is best overall?
Personal preference, but I like Automatic a little more.

It's certainly a contender. Load of classic R.E.M. songs on that one. TFOG is one of their best underrated songs to me.
My personal ranking (sans Chronic Town, Eponymous, and DLO) goes:
1. Automatic For The People
2. Murmur
3. Reckoning
4. Green
5. Out Of Time
6. Lifes Rich Pageant
7. Fables Of The Reconstruction (Of The Fables)
8. New Adventures In Hi-Fi
9. Document
10. Up
11. Monster
12. Accelerate
13. Reveal
14. Collapse Into Now
15. Around The Sun

I will always say AFTP just because that album is so brutally emotionally vulnerable. It doesn't shy away from anything at all.

>Out of Time that high
It has so many corny songs on it that make it feel so outdated
>>64215007
This or Murmur
>>64215007
This isn't Green
>>64216807
OOT is underrated as fuck, bro. Half a World Away, Country Feedback, Me In Honey, Near Wild Heaven, Endgame. All great songs. Hell I'll defend the song you're probably thinking of too.
>>64216920
Radio song, Happy Shiny People and Near Wild Heaven
Losing My Religion also but it's a great song
>>64217043
Radio Song gets props for that KRS-One feature at least. It's fun.
