it was an OK, but really unremarkable album. it's Sea Change 2, but it's not even as good as the original. imo, he's made much better stuff in the past.

beck has some great single power imo but good cohesive albums are hard to come by with him

odelay is his best

i still don't get how it was even nominated for aoty. I don't really care about the grammys but it just made no sense to me. it's an fine album, but it's nothing to write home about.
