what's the concept behind it?
also pic related, The Hypersleep Dialogues EP is a prequel to this album, and a lot of The Great Misdirect leads up to this story. References to it are also made it a few other songs of their's from earlier albums.
The story behind it is cool as fuck.

And The Dear Hunter tells the entire life of a man, from his birth as the bastard child of a prostitute to his death which we do not know of yet since it is still in progress. It's great and takes place during the early 1900 with the character even going to World War 1 and such
