Now Oasis, that's a fucking extremely overrated band. Their early albums were a mess of poorly constructed wall of sound + 60's trhowback songwriting. Their first three albums are good, but nowhere near the masterpieces they are made out to be. Also those albums have some cheesy ass shit like She's Electric, Don't Look Back In Anger, Stand By Me, Wonderwall.

his lyrics span everywhere between cryptic metaphoric Dylan-eqsue poetry, personal first person tales, classical folk songs (ballads, lyrics, etc), long-form theatrical narratives, love songs, etc.
and you're only focusing on his lyrics, when a ton of his genius comes from production, album arrangement, eclecticism and diversity, and sheer vocal talents
