1. The White Album
2. Magical Mystery Tour
3. Revolver
4. Abbey Road
5. Rubber Soul
6. Sgt. Pepper's...
7. Help
8. Let it Be
9. Beatles for Sale

You know it's right.

The rest of the albums are so-so.
I find Sgt. Pepper's to be vastly overrated, while MMT is overlooked, in comparison. McCartney ruined 'A Day in the Life'.'Being for the Benefit...' could've been better without the novelty circus conceit and arrangement.

I agree with McCartney that The White Album's strength is in its length and variety.

Anyway, not a bad album there.
>>
Beatles for Sale is definitely overlook but A Hard Days Night is easily the best of their pre rubber soul work
>>
>>64169489
I must give it another spin -- haven't had listened to it in years.
I've been back on a Beatles buzz for around three weeks now. It happens every couple of years.
>>
>>64169546
Its just great pop craftmenship all around. Some of their best melodies
>>
1. The White Album
2. Revolver
3. Abbey Road
4. Help!
5. A Hard Day's Night
6. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
7. Rubber Soul
8. Let It Be (preferably Naked)
9. Magical Mystery Tour
10. Beatles For Sale
11. With The Beatles
12. Please Please Me
13. Yellow Submarine
>>
>>64169452
1. Magical Mystery Tour
2. the white album
3. Help!
4. Revolver
5. Rubber Soul
6. Abbey Road
7. Let It Be
>side A of Yellow Submarine
8. A Hard Day's Night
9. Sgt. Peppers
10. With The Beatles
11. Please Please Me
13. Beatles For Sale

Side A of Yellow Submarine shouldve been on Sgt. Peppers.

>Substitute
With a Little Help From My Friends
Within You Without You
Good Morning Good Morning

>with
It's All Too Much
Hey Bulldog
Only a Northern Song

Then Sgt Peppers would be a GREAT album.
>>
>>64169849
>those substitutions
Ehh. Hey Bulldog is a pretty good song but those would be so out of place on SP.
>>
1. Revolver
2. Abbey Road
3. The White Album
4. Sgt. Pepper's
5. Rubbers Soul
>>
>>64169967
Not as out of place as Good Morning Good Morning and George's only bad Indian song.
>>
>>64170005
way, way more out of place
>>
>>64170240
If you say so. I just think that becaust Sgt. Peppers has been out for almost 50 years now that that's just what everyone is used to.
>>
>>64169452
>You know it's right.
No, you are WAY off...

1. Abbey Road
2. Revolver
3. Sgt. Pepper
4. White Album
5. Rubber Soul
6. Magical Mystery Tour
7. A Hard Day's Night
8. Help!
9. Let It Be
>>
>>64170308
>Sgt. Peppers that high
>Help! that low
>Abbey Road is number 1

Did you enjoy listening to the Beatles for the first time just recently?
>>
>>64169489
This

Also:
1. Abbey Road
2. The White Album
3. Rubber Soul
4. Magical Mystery Tout
5. Sgt. Peppers
6. Revolver
7. A Hard Day's Night
8. Help!
9. Let It Be
>>
>>64170352
>Abbey Road is number 1
Yeah, no shit, it's their best.
>>
>>64170379
I can name 5 McCartney solo/Wings albums that are better than Abbey Road.
>>
>>64169452
>implying A Day in the Life is ruined in any way
???????????
>>
>>64170434
Beautiful song, ruined by one of McCartney's jaunty, vaudeville pieces.
At least it makes the other parts seem better. It's a necessary middle-eight needed to connect two parts of a song.
>>
>>64170308
Jesus, this is a mess of a list.

>Abbey Road no. 1
>Sgt. Pepper higher than The White Album
>Revolver higher than The White Album
>MMT so low

Glib contrarianism isn't cool, anon
>>
>>64170617
I'm not this guy but how is that contrarian? Abbey Road is considered their best album by a whole lot of people, and both sgt. pepper and revolver are much more listenable, consistent albums than white album imo.
>>
>>64170728
I love Abbey Road, but it's not their best by any means. Way better than Let it Be, but it's just much less adventurous.
Amazing tracks on there, though. "I Want You (She's so Heavy)" being a favourite, as is "Golden Slumbers."
>>
>>64170568

Lol get laid and experience fun u retard

Just because the middle section is catchy, doesn't make it bad. It's adorable and fits thematically with the album so perfectly,

"Somebody spoke and I went into a dream" with the following section is one of the best moments in music ever.
>>
All the takes of Strawberry Fields Forever>>>>
>>
>>64170920
>It's adorable
Fucking cringe at this level of reddit
>>
>>64170568
Yeah, McCartney's bit is the best part of the song. Stay pleb.
>>
THIS IS THE OBJECTIVE RANKING:

1. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (10/10)
2. Revolver (10/10)
3. The White Album (10/10)
4. Abbey Road (10/10)
5. Rubber Soul (10/10)
6. Magical Mystery Tour (9.5/10)
7. Help! (9/10)
8. A Hard Day's Night (9/10)
9. Beatles For Sale (9/10)
10. Let it Be (8/10)
11. With the Beatles (8/10)
12. Please Please Me (7.5)

Stay virgin, my friend
>>
>>64171025
Jesus, you must think "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" is the best Beatles song ever.

8/10 trolling
>>
>>64171053

agree
>>
>>64171089
Ob La Di Ob La Da is a good song.

T b h I think "I've Just Seen a Face" and "It's All Too Much" are tied for best Beatles song.
>>
>>64171053
Add-
>McCartney - 10/10
>Plastic Ono Band -9/10
>Ram - 10/10
>Imagine - 8/10
>Wild Life - 9/10
>All Things Must Pass - 7/10
>Ringo - 7/10
>Band On The Run - 9/10
>Dark Horse - 7/10
>Back To The Egg - 9/10
>McCartney II - 8/10
>>
>>64171220
>Ob La Di Ob La Da is a good song.
Ah, I can see what I'm dealing with now.

>T b h I think "I've Just Seen a Face" and "It's All Too Much" are tied for best Beatles song.
Christ.

Are you actually being serious?
"It's All Too Much" is decent, but "I've Just Seen a Face" is poor. There are around 60 songs I could put ahead of "It's All Too Much," too.
>>
>>64171273

bump Plastic Ono and All things to 10/10 u fuck
>>
>>64171273
>>McCartney - 10/10
Junk should've been on The White Album.
So beautiful. Dunno how it got bumped.
>>
>>64171278

It's All Too Much is god-tier, what the fuck are you talking about? It's in their Top 5.
>>
>>64171278
Christ. Are you old enough to be posting on 4chan?
>>
>>64171330
It's not even the best track on its album -- Hey Bulldog is better.

Also, George was very indebted to what John had done on Revolver with that track.
>>
>>64171398
>Implying it isn't more immature to like "Ob La Di Ob La Da"
>>
>>64169452
Very close friendo

1. The White Album
2. Magical Mystery Tour (these two could go either way)
3. Rubber Soul
4. Revolver
5. Let It Be
6. Sgt. Peppers
7. Abby Road

Haven't listened to the other enough to rank.
>>
>>64171436

>let it be better than sgt. pepper's

jesus christ you're an embarrassment to not only 4chan, or the internet, but to myself. You embarrass ME because I share the same specie as you.
>>
>>64171429
>Liking any piece of music makes you immature.

Please keep posting your stupid shit. You're keeping me and the other ten posters in this thread entertained.
>>
>>64171497
They're about equal.
>>
>>64171220
>T b h I think "I've Just Seen a Face" and "It's All Too Much" are tied for best Beatles song.
I don't agree but IJSAF has some very serious emotional ties to me senpai.

Definitely not IATM though I'm amazed how many people here think that's anything but an average George song.
>>
>>64171299
I would if it was :)
>>
>>64171515

Holy fuck, are you literally b8ing or autistic? How is Dig it, Let it Be, Maggie Mae, One After 909, Long and Winding Road or For You Blue BETTER than anything on Sgt. Pepper's? I'd argue ANY song on Let It Be honestly.
>>
>>64171578
Not that guy, but I also enjoy Let It Be more than Sgt. Peppers. Then again, I also like Ram more than any Beatles album.
>>
>>64171621
>Then again, I also like Ram more than any Beatles album.
Most insane thing I've ever read on /mu/

Well done, anon

wrong, op
I have the objective best beatles album
>>
>>64171621

Okay, so could you answer me? One After 909, Dig It, Maggie Mae and Long & Winding Road are some of the worst Beatle tracks.
>>
>>64171578
I'm not a huge fan of the Sgt. Peppers aesthetic. A Day in the Life is the best track of off either album but honestly I just don't like most of Sgt. Peppers all that much while Dig A Pony, Let It Be, etc. are some of my favorite Beatles songs.

>>
>>64171657
Long and Winding Road is absolutely not. And One After 909 and Maggie Mae are better than most of the songs on With The Beatles and Beatles For Sale. Dig It shouldnt really count as a song.

Listen to Let It Be (Naked). It ditches a few of those songs, changes the track order, and adds Don't Let Me Down. It is far superior to Spector's mess that became Let It Be.
>>
>>64171647
Someone obviously hasn't listened to Ram.
>>
>>64171812
"Dear Boy" is amazing, but that's about it.
>>
>>64171053
patrician taste
>>
>>64171888
I can understand not liking Uncle Albert because of how much it got played on rock radio, but you seriously need to give Ram another listen.
>>
>>64171958
Fair enough. I like your sincerity about it.
About to give it a play.
>>
Anyone with Magical Mystery Tour in their top 3 Beatles' albums knows what they're talking about at least on some level
