What are some more albums like fun's debut? Orchestral pop with great harmonies, etc

Fuckin Jellyfish. I'm sure they must've been a big influence. Especially Spilt Milk imo, but Bellybutton is great too. Ignore the awful album covers. Also listen to The Format's Dog Problems if you haven't. And XTC's Skylarking.
I too would appreciate any more bombastic sugary pop like this tbqh, these bands make me so happy.

i showed this to my friend's dad cause he was a huge ELO fan

yeah Nate was very influenced by XTC

Still waiting on a proper sequel to Aim & Ignite, One of my favorite pop albums ever.
>>64167637
it's a sequel to Dog Problems.

I know the term sellout is banded about a lot, but in this case it's apt. It's absolutely tragic what happened to this band. What a cunt
i'd recommend this for the orchestral pop thing, the outro it builds up to is really good. i haven't listened to them in a while but i listened to them when i was huge into Aim and Ignite and Dog Problems (aka forever ago when it was /mu/'s flavor of the month)

Yeah, but, that isn't a sequel to Aim & Ignite. Which is what I want. Can't I want more?

Dog Problems is the best Format album, Interventions and Lullabies is also decent but songs are really slow

>someone else knows of Jellyfish
my fucking nigga
Which one of these albums is the happiest sounding? Aka spiringcore instead of fall.
I really like Dog Problems but I couldn't get into Aim & Ignite at all.

Yeah. Nate can clearly still sing and jack can write a melody, but damn, what a waste.
