I don't get any message out of the lyrics, though I love the odd way they sound, because there does seem to be some kind of political content to them. "so just now the euro falls / our short century" just sounds cool because most electropop doesn't mention currency crises. But the message doesn't distract from the music unless you want it to.

nah I love the Knife but I've listened to their interviews plus they do a lot of stuff around Sweden and I don't agree with it. For example, they support a group called the Revolutionary Front who vandalize peoples homes and properties associated with the SD party (anti immigration). It's not that i disagree with immigration, I know plenty of immigrants who are great people but the fact remains a large number of them are not good people and it's taking a serious toll on Sweden
