If you read all the stuff that metalfans say on the internet you get the impression that metal is really interesting thoughtprovoking music with lots of variation. Thankfully everybody with a braincapacity larger than that of a pigeon knows that metal is completly moronic and shallow music.
Metal intelligent music? Don't insult my intelligence! It's like bands like Slayer, Iced Earth, Slipknot, Amon Amaarth and Pantera are going out of their way to sound as retarded as possible. Those kind of bands only sing about satan, violence, monsters, suicide or fairytales. Nothing smart about that. But what do you expect with the kind of fans that listen to that type of music. They are all slow ignorant slugs who all act exactly the same as everybody else in the metal target-audience
Metalheads allways look terrible. Even tramps look better. The uniform is allways the same: longsleeve/bandshirt, black trousers, army boots, bomber jacket, dirty looking long hair, thor's hammer, alchemy jewelry, spikes and this is the most important: BLACK CLOTHING. They also wear ugly dumpstore clothing which just shows that all those metalzombies have an incredebily bad dress sense. Especially when they wear army pants that are cut of near the knees that really shows how bad their taste is.
Metalfans look just as awfull as all those squaters. But that just shows that metalfans are just a bunch of shitpunks certainly not hardrockers. Heavy metal fans used to look tough but allways presentible and they bought their clothes at ordinairy clothingshops not at the dumpshop.

Meh, the premise behind metal is kind of lame. Some metal is better than some indie and some indie is better than some metal. In the end their both types of music that are very average.

Fast paced music to give people a jolly. Some metal has good composition but for the most part just rubbish. Weak baselines, and a wankfest to see who can fly up and down the minor pentatonic scale the fastest. Not to mention the vocals add almost nothing sonically to the peices.

I agree with this on some newer bands. Deafheaven is an example. But starting from the classics like Iron Maiden towards doom metal like Bell Witch, the vocals almost always compliment the music very well.
