What are albums you recommend to people who already like the genre/heard the essentials?
I'd say this is a essential album. Its a 10/10 and Alison is a better song than anything MBV made including Only Shallow

This shit literally sounds like Blur with reverb. Awful pop crap made by rich kids that shouldn't even be considered shoegaze.
>>64114241
I agree, but I didn't find out about it until I had gotten into a few MBV albums.

Kill yourself and dont EVER call slowdive Blur again

The only reason I posted Souvlaki was because I knew it was guaranteed replies, but I just want some damn recommendations. I didn't actually want a discussion about the album.
Okay?
Let's talk about Souvlaki. What's everyone's favorites? Mine is Alison :^)

To give you an honest reply, OP, this was the record that set me off into a rewarding deep dive of 60s psych/pop. I'd say this is a gateway album for those that've already heard the household names.
I fucking hate this album

No, he's right. Everyone's favorite really is Alison. Even if you're not willing to admit it. What are you gonna tell me next the title track isn't your favorite on Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space? Words isn't your favorite on I Could Live in Hope?
