For some reason I love the lofi vocal affects Xasthur has. Even though they are mostly incomprehensible, they seem as though they are another instrument on his albums.

I'd have to say Xasthur.
I love some of Leviathans albums, but really don't enjoy others. The early demos up to A Tenth Sub Level of Suicide are great IMO. But I just can't get into the newer stuff like Scar Sighted. Lurker of Chalice is great as well. Meanwhile with Xasthur I enjoy pretty much every album in his discoagraphy, not including the dark folk stuff he's made recently.
