Medication really does kill you creativity and your drive to do pretty much anything. You'd think they'd have come up with better medications by now. I don't know how people deal with all the side effects.

Weirdly, if Billy had killed himself before Machina then he'd be remembered and idolised as an alt-rock hero. Not quite on the level of Kurt, but definitely above Layne. Instead he's become a bitter, twisted mess of a man known by everyone to be a washed up joke. Not saying he'd be better off dead, but his public image certainly would be.
