Am I the only one who just uses this site to rate his favorite albums a full 5/5 rating? I want to be critical but at the same time I truly believe that my favorite albums deserve a perfect rating.

Ratings are serious business though. How else can you be satisfied with music without giving it a number on a website?
I just use it really as a personal diary so I can look back at stuff I've listened to, I don't share it and don't know why I would, my opinion isn't important. And nor is yours.
I personally try to give it the most fair rating I can, but I'll admit to being biased towards my favourites

If an album is a favorite it's at least because I consider it a 5/5 first, nostalgia doesn't usually have much effect on my ratings.
