i like slower music a lot more than before

i used to always skip long songs or songs that weren't upbeat/high energy unless they were reeeeeeeally well written but now i prefer longer/slower stuff

no, but i haven't done drugs enough to make such a call. unless it's alcohol, in which case i'm more inclined towards top 40 stuff when under the influence. weed made me enjoy santana once but that was about it

Since university and smoking more I've gotten really into hip hop

see I've been a music buff since 13 but I've always felt that after smoking weed at 16 I've had a much purer view of listening to music. a lot more of listening to the raw timbral qualities and beauty of the sound. Feldman and Satie kind of stuff

do ya'll think that's possible?

I don't smoke enough weed to know. I smoke pot only every once in a while. But when I do I feel like it gives me a deeper appreciation of the music and I'm able to pick apart about what I like about it easier.
