Did she prove that smoking doesn't kill your singing voice?
gonna pitch in here. I'm a classically trained singer and smoking, while a disgusting and unhealthy habit, doesn't kill your singing voice. This all assuming that we aren't talking a pack a day.
Some of the best singers I've met smoke, some of the greatest opera singers that have ever existed smoked regularly.
The voice is just another instrument. If you know the instrument well enough, then you know what to control and regulate.
