I've never been to any kind of subdued ambient/ drone/ post-rock show tho. What's it like? I was considering seeing Sigur Ros too. But I always see this stuff as like, headphone artists for when you're on your own at home.

I've been to A Winged Victory for the Sullen live. It was quite a small venue, there were chairs and a very calm atmosphere. it was great

I saw them too, they were great but the venue was pure garbage. The stage was across from the kitchen and there was this occasional racket of pots and pans coming in over the music.
