yeah I always hate these opinions/arguments when they come up. a shitty record doesn't affect how good a previously great album was and the only possible reason for not wanting an acclaimed/successful artist to create more music is in order to do this ridiculous attempt at preserving a legacy or constructing a bullshit narrative.
if MF DOOM and madlib get together again it'll be glorious, regardless of whether it's even half as good as madvillainy or not.
